Linux / Unix Systems Administrator 50-60k - E-commerce Co.

My client is urgently seeking an experienced Linux system administrator to architect and implement enhancements to key systems that underpins the business. This is a permanent role with a leading E-commerce company based in Dublin 2. You will be a key resource in ensuring that the e-Commerce systems are capable of sustaining the growth and development of the business.

You will get exposure to the entire application stack and network and get to work with a team of
highly skilled Linux administrators and alongside developers. The company has close to 100 staff
so while they have a massive global presence and deal with a huge volume of traffic it also has
a small feel with good opportunity to share ideas, work with different technologies and develop your skill set.

Main duties & Responsibilities
Provide systems administration for the Unix based e-Commerce systems
Take ownership of issues to resolution demonstrating a positive / can-do approach
Liaising with external service providers as necessary
Designing, building and maintaining the next generation of the e-Commerce systems

Experience working in a Linux systems administration role
Experience in supporting 24x7 e-Commerce systems
Detailed MySQL Database server administration experience
Detailed Networking experience
Experience with designing / implementing enterprise monitoring solutions
Automation, monitoring, scripting
Detailed Apache web server configuration / administration experience
Some Windows knowledge is nice to have but not essential

An excellent salary of €50,000 - €60,000 plus annual bonus (10%), pension, health insurance, life assurance and tax saver incentives.
