Application Support Specialist � Android, Mobile Network Governance, Mobile Device Applications, JavaScript. �5060k plus car allowance, bonus and great benefits package Technical Specialist / Authority required for a major mobile network telecom programme. You will be the Lead, interacting with 3rd party testing service, ensuring governance and network accreditation for devices and applications. The role will be based in Rugby, with occasional travel to other offices, customers, supplier�s locations within the UK. The role holder will: � Liaise with the test team and manage the full lifecycle of 3rd party software testing. � Manage interaction development 3rd parties; i.e. technically oriented issues and queries. � Work closely with engineering, design, product, test and project managers. � Relationship management of 3rd parties and key stakeholder engagement with customers. Key activities will include: � Acting as the lead on external 3rd party developer support. � Manage the 3rd party developer experience including the day to day running of the support portal, technical content validation and onward publication. � Proactively support applications test regimes, test requests, peer reviews, technical appeals, contractual compliance, quality assurance, document ownership. � Support the 3rd party applications forum technical presentations, roadmap. � Be the representative in technical appeals process. � Identify continuous improvement activities. Mandatory experience: � Technical understanding of Android applications, Android operating system, Android devices. � 1 3 years professional experience in a product, application development or test discipline. � Ability to analyse, reproduce, and problem solve. � Demonstrable ability to understand technical systems and architectures. � Ability to translate developer or vendor feedback into specific and clear problem statements, driving onward actions with internal teams. � Selfconfidence to be able to present at developer forums and conferences to our customers and developer community. � Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Highly desirable skills: � Experience with version control systems (Git). � At least one of the following: C/C++/C#, Java, JavaScript, Web applications. � Experience in mobile and web application (SOAP / REST) development. � Ability to debug applications and analyse captured logs using common debug tools, for example Android Studio, MS Visual Studio, etc. � Understanding of public safety voice and data communications solutions.
