A bookkeeping/office management position working for a reputable and successful sales and service business.

Your new role
You will be working as a bookkeeper and office manager, reporting directly to the company directors. You will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Cash Book Processes, Nominal Ledger, an Stock control, amongst other financial areas as required. You will manage two members of staff within finance who will assist in these duties. You will also be responsible for areas of office management, including maintaining health and safety procedures, HR duties, disciplinary duties if required, ensure sufficient office supplies are ordered and equipment is working correctly, ensuring all staffs work is completed, and dealing with queries.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role, encompassing similar duties, will ultimately lead to your success. You will be fully conversant with all financial processes, and be proficient in all financial areas required by the role. You will also have experience in office management, staff supervision and basic HR. You will have excellent attention to detail, and be able to complete all tasks to a high standard. You will be able to work both as part of a team, and without supervision, and will be proficient working in a deadline focused environment. You will also have experience working on Sage, and have strong Excel skills.
