Accounts Clerk - Part or Fully Qualified - Leading West Wales Practice (Cardigan)

One of the biggest Accountancy firms in West Wales and due to go through a sustained period of growth in the next 18 months. My client are a relaxed and friendly firm who have a great reputation in the Cardigan area and have recently bought a new premises to aid their expansion
Your new role
You will be part of the Accounts Clerk team, working directly for one of the 3 Partners to support the Accounts Preparation for their varied client base. You will be joining the firm at a time when they are about to embrace the Digital Accounting changes driven by 'Making Tax Digital' so having a good understanding of computer systems will allow you to spend time with clients helping them through this process.
What you'll need to succeed
Practice experience is a must, minimum of 2 years. You should be comfortable dealing with bank reconciliations, VAT returns and Accounts prep up to Partner review. A Welsh speaker will get more opportunity to deal with clients as around 60% of the client base are Welsh speakers although it is not essential.
