Due to the on-going expansion of the business - Sign Plus Ltd, Dalgety Bay (Fife) has the vacancy for an experienced, pro-active and conscientious Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Managing Directors you'll be responsible for the day to day management of both the company’s finances and the functional personnel (of which there is 3 members of staff - Senior accounts assistant, Trainee accounts assistant and Reception / Admin assistant). Core responsibilities associated with the role but not wholly exclusive to are as follows: Cash management Weekly & monthly management account compilation and analysis Compilation of key performance indicators for the functions of the business (Sales / Operations / Finance) Stewarding of the company’s credit control operating procedures and risk management of its credit accounts Compilation and analysis of monthly board level reports. Security and protection of the entities financial data Management, supervision and development of the 3 functional personnel. The role would suit a part qualified accountant who can take accounts to trial balance stage, who either has or is looking for experience running their own manufacturing based finance office and has potential aspirations for board level representation. The ‘package’ includes a starting salary of £28-£30k per annum (dependent on experience), life insurance, annual bonus (non-contract) and a company pension.
