A successful business in the high end of construction are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for the purchase ledger and small amount of credit control for the business. The business is incredibly successful and looking to grow organically in the next few years.
Your new role
Your job as Accounts Assistant will be to manage the purchase ledger, entering all the invoices onto the system, dealing with discrepancies and analysing spend, reconciling the supplier statements and preparing the payment run and remittance advices. There is only a small amount of credit control, but you will be required to be responsible for this and make out going calls to chase outstanding invoices. There will be the opportunity to assist the Financial Controller where necessary and get involved with analysis and preparing information for the management accounts.

You will be someone who enjoys a varied role, happy to work autonomously being responsible for your own work. This role does not offer progression, but a varied position within a successful business.
