Accountancy Practice - Payroll Assistant - Northwich

You will be working with one of Cheshire's leading independent practice's who are now looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant following an increase in workload. This is a modern, dynamic firm where you will be able to really develop you skills and progress with your career.
Your new role
As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for processing the payroll for number of clients on a weekly and monthly basis. You will be required to deal with queries when they arise and liaise with HMRC. This role will see you reconcile the payroll, issue SSP, SMP and SPP as well as get involved in Auto enrolment.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have at least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice or Payroll Bureau in recent times. You will be up to date with UK legislation in relation to payroll and have knowledge and experience of Auto enrolment and RTI. You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be liaising with clients on a daily basis, dealing with queries and managing any issues that arise and ideally you will have used Sage Payroll in a previous position.
