Your new role
You will be working as a Banking Officer, reporting to the Senior Banking Officer and sitting under the Transactional Services Manager. You will be responsible for weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, cashbook and payment processing, daily cash calculation, liaising with internal and external parties regarding operational queries, providing support across business units, assisting the audit function, and any other tasks as required within the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role, utilising a similar skillset, will ultimately lead to your success. You will be proficient in bank reconciliations, cashbook processing, query resolution, and all other areas of the role. You will be capable of working in a time sensitive manner, within a deadline focused environment, and will complete all tasks accurately and to a high standard. You will be comfortable working both as part of a team and under your own supervision, and will be confident liaising with both internal and external parties. You will also have strong excel skills, and will pick up new systems quickly.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £19,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience, along with 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays. You will also receive discretionary benefits with the role.
