Salary range: £38,511 - £47,328 FTE: 1.0 (35 hours per week) Term : Fixed (29 months) Nourish Catering within the University of Strathclyde has undergone significant transformation over the past few years, as part of its ambitious development and investment programme, the University is looking to recruit a Catering Manager who has the experience and drive to operate across the range of retail and hospitality services offered across the University. Nourish generates approximately £2.5M per annum and operates across 9 retail units, a bar, fine dining hospitality and campus catering provision in relation to knowledge exchange events and conferences. Further expansion activities are planned and Nourish Catering is run as a commercial business on a self-funded basis. The Catering Manager will be part of the Senior Management team and have a key role in leading and managing the next phase of development activities in addition to operational management responsibilities. We are looking for a strategic thinker, and a dynamic and flexible individual who has a proven track record of operating and aligning business with customer needs. You will drive continuous improvement and financial accountability to ensure the provision of first class catering services which exceed customer expectations. You will help engender a proactive, customer-orientated service and support the next phase of this exciting and challenging transformation programme.
