Allied Vehicles Ltd is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of wheelchair accessible mobility vehicles and vehicle adaptations. A new opportunity has become available for a Payroll Coordinator for an initial 3-month FTC to join our HR department where you will cover a period of transition into a new system. You will maintain efficient control and provide accurate administration of the employee payroll system and procedures. Key Responsibilities are: Support the completion of monthly WAGES payroll reports / weekly productive efficiency report Manage the complete processing of payroll i.e. calculation, pay slips, BACS processing and starters and leavers. SSP, SMP, SPP calculations and all related payments (e.g. sales commissions, HMRC, wage arrestments etc.) Ensure that all RTI submissions are dealt with and that Auto-enrolment requirements are met Support the administration of the time and attendance Astrow system which is used to pay approx. 300 productive employees, monitoring holidays and other absences for all staff Ensure full understanding, compliance and application of all Company Standard Procedures Keep abreast of payroll related legislation changes and support in any system enhancements to increase efficiency across the payroll function Due to the nature of this role, only employees who are immediately available will be considered. To be effective in this role, you will have previous Payroll experience, be IT literate with advanced use of MS Office, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. Experience of using Kerridge and a formal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm .
