Graduate Academic Mentor - Pupil Premium

You will be working under a dedicated Senior Leadership Team, supporting the progress and attainment of the pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. Day-to-day, you will be assisting the inclusion of these pupils within the school by supporting the work of the subject teachers. With training, you will be able to identify relevant actions and support measures to ensure the progress of these pupils. In this role, you will be offering 1:1 or small group core subject support in all Key Stages.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a 2:1 in their degree, preferably from a Russell Group university. To ensure the best outcomes, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain effective and supportive mentoring relationships. You will need to be highly organised and have a strong attention to detail, in order to plan individual and group mentoring programmes which provide a range of strategies that will motivate, challenge and empower further learning and will help children to make positive changes.
