Applications & Technical Support Engineer (French Speaking)
Kingsley Consulting has an exciting opportunity with one of their key Engineering Clients based on the South Coast. Our Client employees over 125 people within their UK operation, but are part of a wider Fortune 500 Business Group, that boast offices globally. They really are leaders in their field. They seek to now recruit an Applications & Technical Support Engineer to join their team based in Brighton.
Salary: Circa £25K + Benefits
Working in the Technical Support team, the position holder will be accountable in providing pre & post sales technical support and application advice on all product ranges to key Clients, OEM?s and Distributors of our Clients product range.
·Provide product support & relevant training to customers including occasional UK & overseas site visits.
·Assist with day-to-day organisation of Technical Support workload and performance monitoring for KPIs
·Deputise for the department manager with regard to Technical Support operation in his/her absence
·Organise training for colleagues & customer on control techniques, products and dept processes as required.
·Work closely with customers and colleagues to investigate, test and report potential product problems or complaints. Maintain customer support issues database (CRM) and department KPI monitoring.
·Assist product development by testing & evaluating features/ease of use and product documentation.
Support internal sales as required. This may include taking calls, checking orders, prospecting new clients or generating & qualifying leads.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
-Fluent in French (Native)
-Fluent in English
-HNC/HND/Engineering Degree in an Electrical/Electronic Discipline
Our client is able to train a Graduate that can demonstrate the ability to speak fluent French, that is also in support of the right level of academic qualification and who has a fantastic appetite for learning.
There is a realistic chance to progress within their business within either Technical Sales or Research & Development or Management capacity and our Client is able to provide examples of this and demonstrate internal progression examples at interview.
