The school is located in central Sheffield and has recently been graded outstanding by Ofsted. Numeracy levels among KS1 and KS2 students are lower than average hence the need for a Maths specialist to provide additional support. The senior leadership team in this lovely Sheffield Primary school have an excellent record of working with graduates and many who worked in this school as part of the support staff have subsequently been offered places on a PGCE course the following year.

About the Role

In this role you will be working with children aged 4-11 who are struggling to reach the expected levels of numeracy. You will primarily be required to hold your own interventions and design ways in which you can improve various children's numeracy skills. You will also be required to support the teacher in the planning, organisation and delivery of lessons.

About the Graduate

The school is searching for an ambitious and high achieving maths graduate with an excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
