Person Specification

If you have a 2:1 or above degree, a passion for working with children and a real desire to pursue a career in education, we would like to hear from you! Ideally you will have some experience of working with children/young people who may display challenging behaviour. This role requires a determined individual.

About the role - EBD Teaching Assistant

This exciting role will see you working in a lively KS2 class supporting the teacher. Some children at the school display challenging behaviour, you will work with these pupils to support their learning and understand how to assistant them. You will receive excellent training from the school and use strategies to ensure the child's learning is not disrupted. Aside from this you will be involved of all aspects of school life including extra-curricular activities! If you have a subject specialism (e.g Maths, Science) the school will utilise this knowledge to provide extra 1:1 sessions for children who need extra support.
