Pre-Sales Consultant / Implementation Consultant for Pre-Sales
This is an interesting opportunity for an Implementation Consultant who likes interacting with clients and can demonstrate software, to move into a Pre-Sales consulting role. They would like someone who has done software demonstrations before; that could be WebEx demos or WebEx presentations, or face to face demos with clients. They want an Application Software Consultant who is happy to talk to clients about the product, show off its merits and enjoys engaging with people. Salary to £45k plus bonus of 10-30% and full benefits including private health care and travel insurance.
As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will accompany Sales Executives on visits to clients' offices and work closely with the software sales team and functional implementation consultants to qualify clients. You will deliver software demonstrations and presentations with more in-depth knowledge of the software than the sales people have, manage the bid process, RFP and proposal responses and respond to questions about the software product.
This a role for someone who is a Software Implementation Consultant or someone who has done Pre-Sales on application software such as:
- ERP, CRM, WMS or DMS Software
- Property or Real Estate or Estate Agency Software
- Ecommerce or Retail Software
- Expense Management or Workforce Management Software
- Rentals, Hire Software
- Purchase to Pay Software
- Social Media Software
- Web Portal Software
- Accounting or Finance or Pensions Software
- HR or Payroll Software
- Recruitment or Leasing Software
- Advertising or Marketing Software
- Construction or Builders Merchants Software
The type of software you have implemented or demonstrated is not that important as long as it is application software and you have a keen interest in cloud and web based solutions. Your personality, the ability to think on your feet, your ability to connect with clients and your enthusiasm and ambition count too. Ideally you will be educated to degree level and intellectually curious.
They are looking for someone who lives in close commuting distance to their offices in Milton Keynes, as you will need to be in the office at least 2 days a week and at the start of your role, more whilst you learn the product. There will be visits to see clients in London and days working from home as well. You will report in to the European Pre-Sales Manager and the Regional Director.
You will get a lot of coaching and mentoring, so this would suit someone who is at the early stages of their career and is looking to develop and grow in the application software world, and take a step up in terms of clients, software demos and projects. You are adaptable to new technologies.
You will be joining a team of 10 Pre-Sales Consultants across Europe. In their UK office, they have 2 Pre-Sales Consultants so you would be the 3rd. This is a global company with 3000 staff around the world. All their software is 100% web based including role based iOS and Android apps. The software has core ERP functionality, there is a massive market for it globally and it sells very well.
