STEM Teaching Assistant- Sheffield Secondary School

This improving Sheffield secondary school is passionate about providing pupils with the best standards of teaching and finding innovative and new ways to maximise learning outputs. You will be joining a STEM department which has seen a rise in results in recent years and you will play an integral part in maintaining this success.

Stem Teaching Assistant- The Role

As a STEM Teaching Assistant you will be working across the department in classrooms which have pupils of a range of abilities. You will work with class teachers to plan, prepare and deliver lessons as well as carrying out your own booster sessions and supporting small groups of lower ability learners and supporting them in their GCSEs and enabling them to achieve their full potential. You will must be passionate about supporting pupils in both practical and written approaches.

STEM Teaching Assistant- The Graduate

You must be a recent graduate preferably from a Russell Group university and have graduated with a 2:1 or higher in your STEM. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about your subject and have excellent communication and motivation skills to allow students to achieve their full potential. Any transferrable skills picked up from relevant experience is preferable and will stand you in good stead for this exciting opportunity.
