Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Mon-Fri school working hours

We are looking for high achieving Science graduates who are looking to gain experience within a thriving secondary school. Our support programme has helped many graduates secure positions onto PGCE's or even a school direct teacher training place at the same school!

Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Person Specification:

To be a Graduate Teaching Assistant you must be a confident communicator who can engage with youngsters of all abilities and backgrounds. You must be an emphatic person who can offer appropriate support to students who may have special educational needs. Ideally you will have a 2:1 or above degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics with a good academic background to match. Most importantly you will feel passionate about a career in education.

Science Teaching Assistant - About the role:

In this exciting Graduate Teaching Assistant role you will be working closely with the class teachers. You will work with targeted students who need that extra push to achieve their full potential. You will also work closely with year 11's on the run up to their GCSE's. Full training and support will be provided including safeguarding, team teach and first aid. The school also holds weekly training session's will you will take part in.
