Our client employs over 80 people, designing, manufacturing and distributing an extensive range of branded partitioning systems from a 5-acre site in Radstock, near Bath. Their award-winning products are used in high quality interior fit-outs of commercial office space, generally for blue chip clients, throughout the world.
Joining them as a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, responding to emergency machine breakdowns and supporting the new design, installation and movements of existing machines.
Overhauling and repairing machines and equipment ensuring sites are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance arrangements for the fire and intruder alarm systems and the introduction of portable appliance testing (PAT) register and schedule for testing.
Organising the installation of new machines and equipment, you will be responsible for the overhaul and upkeep of all plant machines including CNC / PLC equipment &Powder Coating process equipment; working with and installing single phase / three phase electrical circuits and fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and parts.
Educated to HNC/HND level in either Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent and qualified in the 17th Edition electrical regulations, candidates will ideally hold a pneumatics qualification or training and have solid experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment. With the ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams and wiring diagrams, you should be competent in electrical / electronic fault finding and able to carry out single and 3 phase electrical installations.
