Compliance Manager required to undertake compliance and risk duties supporting the business of renowned Leamington Spa firm. Now seeking a Compliance Manager, our firm employs experts in private client, personal injury, criminal law, employment, immigration and litigation, and can offer rewarding and varied work managing compliance across the firm. The firm has offices throughout the West Midlands area, so some travel to additional offices and access to your own transport will be a requirement of the role. The Role Are you a senior compliance professional with experience gained from a reputable law firm? This is an opportune time to join a thriving private practice in Leamington Spa as a Compliance Manager and undertake a range of duties to include: Lexcel and CQS maintenance and attainment; best practice development; advising on professional indemnity insurance; advising on regulatory change and; contributing to staff training and development. The successful Compliance Manager will work closely with the firm`s management team to minimise exposure to risk. The delivery of staff training sessions on compliance and adhering to new policy and procedure will be a feature of the role. Additionally, the successful Compliance Manager will administer compliance software throughout the firm and train staff on its utilisation. Managing the complaints process will be a key responsibility of the role, involving maintaining accountability and resolving issue occurrences. The Candidate To be considered for this role: You must be a senior compliance professional with experience gained from a reputable firm; It will be advantageous if you possess experience of reporting at a senior level; You will be IT proficient with experience of Microsoft Office package; You will possess knowledge of AML regulations, financial crime legislation, SRA Accounts Rules and SRA Code of Conduct in addition to cybersecurity and data protection issues and legislation; You will work well on your own initiative and as part of a team; You will be skilled in maintaining confidentiality and a professional manner; You will be adept at document production and drafting; You will be flexible in your approach to working; Communication will be a key strength; You will possess a driving license and have access to your own transport.
