This new and exciting fintech business with offices in the UK and US is looking for a Digital Product Owner to work on its game changing investment due diligence products.

The company is growing rapidly and counts some of the world?s largest banks and asset managers as clients. It has ambitious growth plans and is already launching new business lines in the US and Europe.

The company is well funded by client revenues but has also received private backing from experienced individuals in the asset management industry.

It aims to grow a centre of fintech development excellence in Liverpool to support its global client base and as part of this is seeking a talented Digital Product Owner.

The Role

Working in an agile software development team, they are seeking an experienced software product owner or project manager with strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

You will have the skills below but just as important is the ability to be positive, adaptable, have a can-do attitude, be proactive and communicate clearly with a variety of fellow employees and teams.

  • Software project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Responsible for delivery and ongoing product management of high quality, digital products
  • Creating and maintaining the Product backlog.
  • Sort the Product backlog items according to priority.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders as well as engineering and creative teams
  • Collaborating with clients to agree specifications, produce quotes and manage the delivery of their projects
  • Clearly communicate the business requirements to the Team
  • Get detail level of requirement from stakeholders or customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to understand user needs by analysing user research findings and analytics data. Confident in writing user stories to meet those needs
  • Demonstrable knowledge and passion for user centred design practices for public facing and internal services and applications
  • Strong technical knowledge will be advantageous
  • Experience with Atlassian suite or similar
