Your key responsibilities:

The Insight Manager role will be directly responsible for insight requirements for Sky's entertainment channels.

* Use existing analytical tools and data resources to generate insights about TV viewing: work as a self-starter and be actively curious about what numbers are telling us and how they can be actioned to improve our decision making
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of content strategies and viewing performance: track performance of actions taken by the business and the impact on customers; be able to articulate reasons for underperformance in certain segments and suggest what improvement actions could be taken; work very closely with the rest of Insight & Decision Science to understand and influence key business KPIs
* Support the Entertainment teams in implementing analysis projects. Examples include understanding the impact of changes to content rights; using viewing behaviour to drive future content rights; reviewing the impact of specific propositional activity on content engagement

Your skills

* Stakeholder Management: Candidate must have an excellent and proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders at Head of Department Level. Evidence of influencing, engage with, and responding to senior stakeholders with credibility.
* A proven track record of working in an analytical role with a commercial focus and being responsible for the work that you produce.
* Hands on experience using data mining tools or languages (e.g. SAS, SQL) is necessary, as is experience of using visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
* Ability to articulate insight in a commercial and marketing context and deliver this insight clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders
* Experience working with exceptionally large datasets of customer level data
