Our client has been established since 1977, it is the only voluntary self-regulatory within its industry. The PR Manager will report into the Associations Head of Operations and will be critical to the strategic delivery of the Associations brand awareness.

Main Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing PR strategies
  • Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations via telephone and email
  • Proactively identify opportunities to build business profile and media networks, including making recommendations on business subject to contribute to
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Collating and analysing media coverage
  • Writing and editing in-house publications, case studies, speeches and articles
  • Responsible for the Associations corporate messaging across all communication channels including their website
  • Identifying where appropriate, opportunities to raise profile and secure sponsorship or representational opportunities
  • Commissioning market research
  • Managing the PR aspect of a crisis situation
  • Line Management of PR Executive / Assistant


  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a PR function
  • Experience of managing campaigns and working at a strategic level
  • Line management experience
  • Digital qualification / experience

  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Proactive, motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple requests, often simultaneously
  • Possess the confidence to build a good rapport with senior stakeholders & media
