As a result of continued success and a demonstrable program of planned strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Engineering Manager to join their team of engineering professionals.
Primarily an office based role, the Engineering Manager will oversee the Projects, Maintenance and Site Services teams. To be successful in the role, you will need to be confident working autonomously and have experience of large budgets and man management.
? Ideally degree qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Management
? Previous experience within a high-speed/high-volume, KPI focussed environment is crucial for this role
? Involvement in plant wide modernisation projects
? Experience managing multi-million pound budgets
? A COMPEX qualification and experience working within explosive gas hazardous areas would be highly beneficial though not crucial
As the Engineering Manger you will be;
? Responsible for a £7 Million annual budget spread across 3 teams
? Accountable for the organisation of large scale projects across the vast manufacturing site
? Responsible for senior escalations from personnel and enforcing strict health and safety standards
This role would particularly suit an Engineering Manager with a keen interest in continuous improvement. Due to impending plans over the next few years to overhaul and modernise the plant, the successful Manager will be responsible for budget allocation and and resource management to ensure production KPI's are met during the installation & upgrade of complex manufacturing lines.
In return you can expect an excellent starting salary of up to £60,000 plus Car Allowance, 15% Bonus, 10% Pension, Family Healthcare plan. On top of this you will be working for a global leader in the FMCG sector that can offer longevity and progression.
Based in Derbyshire the Engineering Manager position is commutable within an hour from Nottingham, Burton-on-Trent, Derby, Loughborough, Stoke-on-Trent, Chesterfield, Tamworth and surrounding areas.
