About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Training Advisor to join our Major Projects team to work in Avonmouth.

What you'll be doing

As a Training Advisor, you will:

* Producr and maintain the project competency and skills matrix in line with both client and Balfour Beatty requirements
* Work with the vetting & on-boarding co-ordinators to ensure all staff coming onto the project meet the basic competency requirements and that any training gaps are identified and appropriate training interventions are put in place
* Monitor and book renewals for CITB and associated competency cards
* Carry out assurance checks with respect to our supply chain's competence
* Manage overall training records and information systems in line with client requirements

Who we're looking for
You will:

* Have a good working knowledge of industry wide construction related training provision, such as CITB
* Have experience of working in a major construction project environment
* Have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels and influence and challenge where necessary
* Be IT literate
* Have the ability to work confidentially with sensitive company and personal information
