Our client is a large Utilities contractor that is looking for a Waste Water Sampler to work from Coventry covers multiple sites nationwide. All of the work flow is attached to residential, industrial and waste disposal / land fill sites where you will be water sampling as well as ground water sampling.
As this position offers full training with equipment and technical aspects of the role so no previous experience of water sampling is needed, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling experience, ph testing or any sort of environmental sample collection such as air, dust, asbestos or similar experience would be advantageous.
This role is based from Coventry where you will be covering multiple client sites nationwide. As a result you will spend a lot of time travelling between sites and must be comfortable driving daily to site up to 3 hours away. Therefore having a drivers license is essential.

Live in or near Coventry as you will start and finish your shift from the Coventry depot
Be able to work as part of a 1 in 3 weekend standby rota ( You will be paid £50 per weekend for being on standby and any hours worked will be paid at X1.5)
The main responsibilities of the role will be to travel to multiple location and collect water samples. The samples and collection methods will vary based on the location and test. Once samples are collected you will need to store them in the company van and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.
On offer is a salary of £16,500 if you have no experience, and £17,000 if you have previous water sampling experience based on a 37 hour week.
PPE, company van and training will all be provided.
