This vibrant and multicultural primary school in central Manchester is looking to recruit a Speech and Language graduate who may have prior experience of working in a Primary school through placements, to work with them for the full academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech & Language or Psychology graduate who aspires to become a qualified therapist in the near future. You must be available to start work ASAP and continue for the full academic year.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Speech and Language or Psychology and have experience working with children. You will need to be confident working with PECs, Makaton and/or other speech & language interventions. The school requires a resilient and dedicated person to drive progression with statemented pupils in order to improve confidence in communication.

This lovely mainstream primary school located close to the city centre in Manchester and welcomes children with SEN due to their fantastic reputation in the local area. They have a strong relationship with parents and you will be fully involved in this. The school SENCo is a well-known exceptional leader of SEN in the school and local area, she will be on hand to provide support and training from day one.

This role will include a large amount of training and exposure to Speech & Language in a primary school setting. It is a great chance to network with Educational Psychologists and Speech and language therapists to set you in a strong position for your future career.
