Mathematics Teacher - Job Description:
A client of mine based in the London Borough of Bexley are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their already strong department on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP.
You will be required to teach Mathematics to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 on a full timetable. Classes in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4will be grouped by ability, whereas, classes in Key Stage 5 will be mixed ability. The high achievers in this school compete nationally in terms of grades.
About the school:
This is an all-girls' secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the London Borough of Bexley. Although it is an all-girls school, the sixth form over the past few years has become mixed. This School received "Good" in their last Ofsted with the leadership team being told it has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. They have continued to maintain an accurate, honest and highly effective self-evaluation of the school, including the sixth form. The self-evaluation is accurate in identifying the areas of strength and those areas that need to be developed. The governors are highly enthusiastic and challenging in their work to improve the quality of education for pupils.
