Salary: £16,432 - £19,188 per annum

We are excited to announce that we opened our brand new day nursery at Mead Open Farm in Leighton Buzzard in April 2017, and due to popular demand, there is a new vacancy available for an experienced Practitioner to join the team at our new, unique farm setting!

Responsibilities of the Nursery Nurse role:

  • To support the day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the room facility.
  • To ensure that developmental records for your key group are kept up to date.
  • To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • To assist in the development of an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self-motivation and eagerness to learn.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a confident Nursery Practitioner, who is looking to get their teeth into a new challenge. You will be motivated to hit the ground running and add value to our fun and hardworking team. You will thrive in a busy environment, and always be on hand with new ideas and activities. You will be confident in all areas of the EYFS and implement accordingly.

The successful candidate should be qualified in Childcare to a minimum of Level 2, and ideally have experience in a similar role.
