My client is a leading company in their field and they are currently looking for an IT Manager to join and head up their growing IT function asap. You will lead a mid-sized team of support / development staff and will advise the board of Directors on the role of IT and how it will assist in driving the growth of the company.
Assuming the prospective candidate is interested in doing so, this role will lead to a position as IT Director, the timeframe of which will depend on the suitability and performance of the candidate.
You will have;
At least five years experience as an IT Manager within a commercial environment.
Experience of managing both support staff and development staff.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
A wide range of knowledge of operating systems, platforms, databases, hardware and software / apps / development languages
