This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer-centric Systems Support Administrator - 2nd Line / 3rd Line Support Technician with Office 365 administration skills.Candidates can expect a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience and skills.

The candidate must have good knowledge of software and hardware, and the ability to work in a team or individually and meet deadlines. It's vital you have excellent communication skills (both verbally and written), be confident as you will be interacting with a wide variety of customers & third parties, organisational, time management skills and a desire to learn new skills. Candidates need to have great attention to detail, must have a flexible and adaptable approach. The ideal candidate required the following skills:

  • Excellent networking understanding (switching, routing, VLANs, WLAN
  • Firewalls (Cisco/SonicWALL/WatchGuard)
  • Microsoft Office Applications, PC Builds and Imaging
  • PC Hardware, Printers, WAP & Scanners
  • Active Directory Administration, Exchange Server Administration
  • Windows OS 7,8 & 10
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS
  • Terminal Services
  • AD/Office 365 support & admin (including SharePoint, OneDrive etc.)
  • G Suite Administration
  • Apple OS and Apple Mac support experience
  • Virtualisation(Hyper-V) - Cloud ? Migrations -
  • Backup Technologies
  • Blackberry / IOS / Android setup, configuration and support;

Desirable skills:

  • Mobile Device Management
  • Sage /QuickBooks
  • Windows Server 2008 & Above

Essential experience and competences for the 2nd/3rd Line Support technician include:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar Helpdesk Support role with exceptional customer service skills and come from an IT Support Services and / or Helpdesk background.
  • Excellent communication skills and Telephone manner, a pro-active approach to support and a willingness to development your skills.
  • High Quality Troubleshooting Experience and Prowess
  • Administration and Configuration of Windows Servers and Exchange
  • Experience Supporting a range of Hardware Issues
  • Network and Storage Management, Upgrade, and Maintenance
  • Active Directory
  • Helpdesk and Remote Support
  • Desktop and Software Support Liaise with 3rd party vendor and provide advanced technical assistance in troubleshooting and configuration changes - Be comfortable with delivering at pace

As 2nd/3rd Line Support Technician you will: * Work alongside the Head of IT and Project Management Team to ensure smooth running of the office and 1st/2nd line support. * Supporting staff across the organisation with any technological issues or problems; including Office 365; OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, G suite, MAC, PC/Server management including 1st/2nd line support and desktop/laptop configuration. * Provide Support remotely to assist clients with issues and seek resolutions, respond, log and manage calls from clients requiring technical assistance to various support/advice to users as well as produce documentation on the network, software licencing, security and anti-virus.
