SEN Teaching Assistant - Person Specification
If you are a keen Psychology graduate looking to build your skills by working for the full year, supporting a child with autism, this school would like to meet with you right away! Good communication skills and a resilient personality is of the upmost importance. You should have some experience of working with children through volunteering or placements. Ideally we require a 2:1 or above degree however 2:2s will be accepted if you have excellent experience.

SEN Teaching Assistant- About the role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 3 boy who is on the autistic spectrum on a 1:1 basis. This challenging role will need a resilient but friendly personality to guide and support the child's educational experience. You will receive fantastic training for the class teacher and supportive leadership team! You will use strategies to support the child's learning and feed back to the parents and SENCo.
