Concept are urgently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer for a client based Thame (Oxfordshire)

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mainly hardware based support on laptops, PC's and associated equipment

The role will also include some offsite travel (two days per week) and have a good chance to move into a full time role

Specification of the role would be as follows:

  • Working through Service Desk tickets that have been raised for Hardware faults, attending site and resolving
  • Provisioning all new hardware for new starters
  • Conducting New Starter Inductions, providing instruction on how to use their new device, showing them
  • Administering all new starter requests (Software, Gmail, AD. Desktop Apps)
  • Whilst onsite general tickets and walk up assistance
  • Ensuring leaver hardware is returned from Line Managers
  • Coordination of third party suppliers of Networks, Hardware, Maintenance and Software Support - If required

Further role details -

  • Monday - Friday, day work (37.5 hours)
  • 3 days on site (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) and the 2 days working as a field engineer
  • Have your own vehicle for the field based working days - mileage will be paid
  • Excellent verbal communication is required
  • 3 months temp to perm

Initial rate - £130 per day pay plus mileage payable at 23p per mile (role will pay £22,000 when full time)
