The Fundraising & Supporter Development department at King?s College London fundraises for both the university and for partner NHS hospitals. Our activities span fundraising from major gift to individuals, corporate and community events as well as engaging the university?s large alumni community which stretches across the globe. It?s an exciting time to join, as we are planning a new fundraising campaign. This follows the success of World questions| King?s answers, which raised over £610m and led to ground-breaking milestones in neuroscience, mental health, cancer and more. Our next campaign has great ambitions to make a real and positive difference to the world we live in.

We are looking for an excellent communicator to join the Communications & Stewardship team, who will support in planning, creating and delivering a range of content for mainly alumni audiences. A substantial part of the role will be writing copy for enews, website and social media; and writing articles for the university alumni magazine, InTouch.

The successful candidate will be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to understand audiences? needs, write excellent copy and choose eye-catching images for multiple channels. They will successfully coordinate the development of high-quality engaging content.

The ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and take initiative are crucial. Building relationships throughout the university community, this role plays a large part in engaging and stewarding alumni audiences.

The salary will be paid at Grade 4, £24,285 to £27,285 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

The selection process for the role of Content Engagement Coordinator will include a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview with competency based questions.
