Based in Burnham on sea, Somerset.
Full Time contract.
£23,000 per Annum.

This family-owned holiday park is looking to recruit a Complex Manager / Couple.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of both wet and dry sales along with supervising the amusement arcade, security staff and entertainment team.

Duties
- Supervise the smooth running of the bars/kitchen
- Ensure venues open on time and are ready for business
- Ensure fantastic front of house service, delegate tasks and instruct staff to maintain efficient service and cleanliness, keeping all staff busy and productive
- Maintain high standards, addressing and correcting bad practice
- Ensure cellar and all back of house areas are kept to a high standard
- Keep all necessary paperwork up to date and check all paperwork completed by team members
- Ensure venue is closed, secure and ready for the next day
- To clean and maintain all areas within the venue, making senior management aware of any issues
- Cash handling and exposure to other financial responsibilities
- Actively respond to and deal with daily problems as they arise while keeping senior management up to date
- Training of new staff
- Provide induction training and monitor/support new team members
- Keep accurate records of induction training given
- Check all deliveries for accuracy and quality, ensure stock is correctly stored and secure
- Record wastage and keep appropriate records for external stock check
- Correct stock rotation of stored and displayed goods
- Follow cashing up and change procedures as instructed by senior management
- Ensure all staff are using till system and wastage recording correctly
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

Skills and Experience:

- Have a full understanding of licensing laws and other legislation relevant to the role
- Be proud to be the positive example to your team
- The successful candidate will need
- Previous experience within the bar/holiday industry
- Previous supervisory experience and excellent customer service skills
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively
- An outgoing personality, open to new idea and lots of common sense
- Good personal hygiene
- To be flexible, reliable and hard working
- Be able to deal confidently and calmly with a diverse range of customers and staff
- Hold a personal license and first aid certificate or gain promptly
- Be available for work during evenings and weekends

This position is to start in mid to Late January 2018.
Accommodation is provided.
