Financial Reporting Analyst

Our impressive, International business services client who operate their EMEA Shared Service Centre in Bracknell, are looking to recruit an EMEA Financial Reporting Analyst to join their established EMEA Reporting team in their Shared Service Centre in Bracknell.

As the EMEA Financial Reporting Analyst you will be an advanced user of Excel to written Macro level. You will be responsible for supporting the Shared Service Centre in the definition, creation and publication of all performance and monitoring reports whilst supporting the activities of all business streams to create, produce and review reporting information and KPIs.

Duties will include

  • You will be responsible for supporting the SSC in their reporting requirements to assist them in analysing their areas in an efficient and effective way.
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of performance whilst investigating variances against historic and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making towards the Group strategic plan.
  • Lead and assist with SSC and business projects to translate requirements to functional requirements and outputs to drive process improvement.
  • You will assist with the implementation of process and procedure changes with the key business areas and finance stakeholders on root cause analysis.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of information summarising Group performance and present to directors, and senior management. This will include the finance executive pack, budgeting, KPIs, Finance & SSC Governance reporting.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • It is essential that you will have an advanced knowledge of excel to written Macro Level
  • Experience of SAP or BPC would be an advantage but not essential
  • It is essential you have previously generated and written reports
  • Possess good analytical and numeracy skills
  • You will possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working within a finance environment previously is essential
  • You will ideally be studying towards a professional qualification and my client is happy to support you in your ongoing studies
  • Previous experience or working in an International role would be useful but not essential
