Due to continued expansion a great opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual to join the Learning and Department (L&D) as a Conveyancing Trainer. The incumbent will have responsibility for delivering technical conveyancing course content to new starters and reinforce ongoing learning for current employees.

You will possess and have the ability to demonstrate a broad and detailed knowledge of conveyancing and will be able to impart your knowledge in line with colleagues and business needs. You will be engaging, disciplined and professional.

The Role

  • Delivering agreed L&D programmes for new and existing staff
  • Lead trainee conveyancer training as well as monitor, review and test the progress of trainees by using questionnaires and through discussions with managers
  • Deliver and assist with the development of compliance training
  • Assist with and organise supported CLC course programmes and examinations for all participating staff
  • Assist with ensuring that statutory training requirements are met
  • Work with the L&D team to evaluate learning and development programmes and identify training issue
  • Assist with the review and improvement of L&D programmes as a result of evaluation and in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment
  • Deliver one to one training to case handlers on specific matters/ cases that are highlighted
  • Assist with the identification of learning and development needs within an organisation through consultation with business managers/ stakeholders and individual assessment with each learner
  • Assist in the design and development of learning and development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs
  • Keep up to date with developments in L&D

The Person

  • Experience as a practicing conveyancer
  • Ideally experience in a L&D environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners in groups or individually
  • Successful track record in a case handler role
  • A comprehensive and clear understanding of conveyancing principles
  • Excellent knowledge of legal case management systems
  • Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner to learners
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail
