Our client have been trading in East Yorkshire for nearly 15 years and they are currently working on massive expansion plans.

Understanding the importance of customer service in today’s market, they pride themselves on delivering the highest standards of service and to do this, they need motivated, dedicated and hardworking staff.

With this in mind, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team based in Scunthorpe.

Who are they looking for?

As their ideal Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be experienced in all aspects of motor vehicle repair and diagnostics. Although experience of working in a high-volume workshop would be an advantage, this would not be essential to be considered for the role.

You will be qualified to a Level 3 or equivalent. Being a qualified MOT tester would be advantageous.

You must be diligent, hardworking and ensure the vehicles you work on are completed to the highest possible standards.

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting in to the Service Manager, the successful Technician / Mechanic will be responsible for undertaking maintenance and service and repair activities on motor vehicles. Daily responsibilities will also include:

  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards;
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety’
  • Maintaining the highest standards of work.
