Job Title: Repair Cell Manager (Returns)
Location: Poole
Hours: Fulltime 37.5 hours, flexible between 7am - 7pm. Core hours of 9am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
Salary: Competitive

An aeronautical company based in Poole is looking for a Repair Cell Manager to join their Customer Logistics Support (CLS) Division.

Responsible for the efficient running of the repair cell, the role will ensure all goods are compliant with test specifications, repaired to specified standards and ensure that the division's customer requirements and sales output targets are met.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing of the Repair Cell team; including the communication of policy, objectives and company value; overseeing the allocation of work to staff and ensure all customer deadlines are met.
- Identify training needs as new processes and technology are introduced and implement new processes, policies and plans to enhance quality, efficiency and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support and assistance to other tests personnel when required.
- Evaluate and update test procedures/specifications to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Represent CLS Division at internal and external meetings providing accurate information to all stakeholders.
- Management of Government Furnished Equipment(GFE) Stock including leading GFE Audits and reporting stock levels to stakeholders as necessary.
- Development and adherence of Repair Cell KPIs.
- Maintain serial number database and customer returns system.
- Champion change initiatives within the division and business as a whole.

Skills and experience required:
- HND in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
- ISO 9000 quality system desirable
- Able to read technical engineering drawings
- Good Microsoft Office skills - including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
- Outstanding leadership capabilities with experience of managing/supervising a multi-disciplined team
- Exceptional organisation and a thorough approach to work, with a proven ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and work with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to connect and build relationships with individuals at all levels both internal and external to the company.
- Self motivated and a enthusiasm for business improvement/change initiatives.
