We are currently seeking to recruit individuals interested in becoming Graduate Teaching Assistant's to work at a vibrant and friendly secondary school.
A popular school located in Edgware is seeking to hire a Graduates starting in September 2017. The ideal Graduate will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. The school is keen to secure a Graduate to join a thriving department in the new academic year. The role includes supporting the class teacher and students during lessons. The school teaches key stage 3, 4 and 5.
The Special Needs Coordinator is interested in hiring dedicated, committed graduates and will train successful candidates to ensure they are learning, growing and developing and adding value to the team ad more importantly the students. This role will prepare you very well should you wish to train to become a teacher.
The School do not have issues with their recruitment and do not find that they have a high staff turnover. However, as they have worked with Prospero teaching for a number of years, they have entrusted this vacancy with us to ensure they appoint the most suitable Graduate available to continue the amazing teaching delivered to Key Stage 3, key stage 4 and 5. The role also offers the option of being permanent or on a contractual basis depending on the successful Graduate's needs.
Behaviour at the school is extremely good, although, like most schools, there are a few students in a few of the year groups that have more challenging attitudes towards learning, therefore you will be expected to demonstrate the correct strategies to ensure the behaviour stays at a manageable standard. The school does provide education for students of all abilities therefore creating differentiated and interesting attention grabbing lessons is a very important trait and will act as a useful method to ensure behaviour stays good.
