A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified RGN within the East Cheshire area. This is a rewarding role for the right person looking for a full time community based position. This is a temporary contract posts, offering full time hours; the majority of which will be working standard office hours although some early evening and weekend work may be required.

The role will involve:
* Providing direct nursing care to service users in their own homes
* Offering the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner
* Managing your time efficiently including diarising appointment and considering the logistics of getting to and from your appointments
* Assessing service wellbeing and identifying changes and or deterioration and liaise with external agencies in order to prevent further deterioration
* Building relationships with patients to encourage trust, while listening and interpreting their needs and concerns

Key skills required include:

Male and female catheter care including super pubic care and bladder washouts
PEG feeding
Oxygen therapy
Administration of medications including injections
Wound care management
Tracheostomy care
Continence assessments


In addition to the above kep competencies, you will have:
* A recognised professional qualification in nursing together with current NMC registration
* Valid Driving Licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes
