Acting as an agency on behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Site Manger.
This role is for a skilled, focused and highly motivated site manager to join our clients M&E Team on a project for a framework Key Client Account and will be looking after all site based activities.

Job Role
As the Site Manager you will bring demonstrable site experience, implementation experience and practical skills to the team. Working closely with the Construction Manager and the Project Manager, the Site Manager will ensure that all site activities are planned and executed to meet the project requirements in a safe and cost effective manner.
You will be accountable for the efficient and effective implementation of project at site level. Although primarily site based, you will be working for their Cheshire office
You will manage all site activities for all site disciplines, establish, manage and deliver the project within the agreed constraints of time, quality and cost, whilst maintaining the motivation and enthusiasm of the site team and an excellent Health Safety and Environmental performance. You will ensure customer satisfaction and quality is achieved.

Main Responsibilities
Site manage multiple medium and small projects, either disparate or grouped together under a technical programme of work,
Be responsible for the health and safety of all site personnel and sub contractors.
Develop relationships with the client to ensure a smooth delivery and handover.
Identify and acquire the relevant resources to assist in delivering the site deliverables.
Responsible for attending the appropriate Project Progress/Project Change /Team Briefing/ Meetings as required.
Ensure project plans are monitored/updated, escalating issues and initiating corrective actions as required.
Manage site resource as required including 3rd party suppliers, engineering service providers, agency supplied workers.
Ensure the site installation is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time, within budget.
Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of both the company & the client.
Undertake progress reports at regular intervals to the Project Manager.
Demonstrate management skills to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the company.
Produce and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all site based activities.
Provide the Project Manager updates on programme, progress and risks.
Provide an excellent safety culture and work with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance is achieved and KPIs are met.

Qualifications, experience, competencies and skills
Have a technical background in a related subject at a level 3 or above (or equivalent)
Site Managers Safety Training Scheme SMSTS Qualification
Suitably relevant CSCS card
Significant Site Management experience
First Aid trained
Strong knowledge of lifting procedures
Experience managing 3rd party suppliers
Promotes a safety culture on site
Experience in appropriate health and safety regulations (i.e. CDM, HASAWA etc)
Strong communication skills - both written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong IT Skills and knowledge of the MS Office packages

Desirable Criteria
Electrical biased site manager with multi discipline knowledge preferable
Experience of working within the Utilities Industry
JIB approved apprenticeship
