This is a growing, Voluntary Aided Primary School based in Edgware, Barnet and within walking distance from the Northern Line. In 2015 the school was graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' Leadership and Management, Behaviour and safety of pupils. The school very much has a family feel to it and is lucky to have positive parents who get involved in their children's school life. About the role - Year 5 Class Teacher, Edgware, Barnet

The school are looking to appoint an experienced and talented Class Teacher to join their KS2 team as a Year 5 Class Teacher. The vacancy is a full-time role and will be on a permanent contract. The Year 5 class is still a single form entry so they do require a practitioner who is confident in planning lessons and delivery of a diverse and rich curriculum. The school has a double strand of curriculum which integrates secular studies with Jewish curriculum. You will need to have proven experience of working in KS2 with a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and up-to-date teaching practice and methodology. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with staff, students and external agencies.
