TIME Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside one of the leading names in private sector health care in selecting a Registered Nurse Deputy Manager (qualified nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD) to support the General Manager of a well-regarded Wallsend elderly care home.

The service was judged to be fully compliant following a 2017 CQC inspection. This position would be well suited to an experienced nurse looking to step up, or an existing deputy seeking a new challenge within a welcoming and secure environment.

---THE ROLE---
As a Registered Nurse Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in clinical governance within the service. You will need to be confident in managing teams of clinical and non-clinical staff, supervising and monitoring performance on a regular basis. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a keen understanding of CQC standards are critical to the position. Previous experience of leading a team within a care setting is essential.

Working closely with the General Manager, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious nurse seeking a satisfying challenge. Our client has a number of other homes throughout the North East and can offer realistic progression pathways for those looking to progress into Senior Management.

Our client employs a range of state-of-the-art technological innovations in the care delivery process, streamlining care planning and medication and making it easier to identify and correct errors. Already one of the leading names in the social care arena, this is an exciting time to join an organisation in the midst of a range of progressive developments, all driven by a desire to provide outstanding care to those in need.

Our client offers a comprehensive induction programme, supported by on-going training and professional development. For nurses looking to progress, our client is large enough to offer ample progression opportunities, along with specialist training in areas like dementia and palliative care. You will also be encouraged to progress through formal management qualifications should you wish to develop further.

This role is offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to the successful candidate. This is supplemented by the following additional benefits:

- generous matched pension contributions
- access to private health and dental care
- NMC/DBS costs paid
- free uniform
- access to high quality, extensive induction and continuing training
