  • Supporting their existing Account Director by managing top tier client/s to help grow their email marketing business.
  • Day-to-day management and oversight of client engagements, including status report generation, weekly meetings / calls, monthly meetings, communications with account stakeholders, communications with internal stakeholders, billing, strategy sessions,
  • Quarterly account / benchmark reviews, and first level escalations


  • Responsible for exceptional client service and account management activities for clients
  • Participates in development of clients’ marketing strategies and tactics; collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure consensus around tactics’ scope and approach
  • Support overall account development, resourcing fiscal performance and growth
  • Support day-to-day client queries in troubleshooting and following up on client requests
  • Work closely with Solutions, Client Services and Campaign Services teams
  • Help draft scope of work, contracts, presentations, creative briefs and marketing materials and other internal/external communications
  • Document status and otherwise communicate need-to-know information to all project stakeholders to ensure progression along critical path
  • Effectively work with multiple departments throughout project development and implementation
  • Assist Account Director with campaign results analysis, optimization and strategic recommendations, best practices recommendations, client presentations, requirements documenting, training, and Legal Privacy and ISP compliance discussions
  • Continually look for ways to improve account growth through clear understanding of clients’ objectives and goals
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members as assigned
  • Perform ad-hoc platform demos and training
  • Perform semi-annual invoice audits
  • Perform client SWOT analysis
  • Contribute to client quarterly business reviews

Required experience;

  • ESSENTIAL - direct + digital marketing experience.
  • Solid experience with at least 5+ years of relevant client experience in email marketing / related disciplines / relevant digital agency experience
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies - experience with major consumer brands and online/ interactive channels preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of email and digital marketing processes
  • Knowledge of customer retention process and ability to analyse processes
  • Has good understanding of marketing best practices and industry trends
  • Good management of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and knowledge of using an email marketing platform
