Accounting Services Manager

You will have demonstrable experience of successfully, influencing, leading, motivating and managing a team across different functions to ensure client delivery against SLAs and against service criteria. You will keep abreast of all applicable legislation and FCA regulations and guidelines and ensure that the principles of TCF are adhered to. You will lead by example, promoting motivated, customer focussed behaviour and encourage the team to develop and embrace change and continuous improvement.
About the role
Our Accounting Services Manager leads and develops the Client Accounting Services Team to be highly motivated and multi-skilled. Ensuring they provide excellent client and customer service in accordance with relevant legislation, regulation, regulation, and contractual definition of services and internal policies. Services provided by the team include, Financial Controls, ledger reconciliations, financial report validation, bank reconciliations, simple Treasury functions and payment waterfalls.
Our Accounting Services Manager supports continuous improvements and identifies and supports the implementation of automation and business optimisation and builds and manages relationships with staff across the business. Our Accounting Services Manager acts as a key point of contract with other departments and clients when resolving issues and queries. They actively seek opportunities to provide new services and expose opportunities to develop existing services. Our Accounting Services Manager is involved in the on-boarding of any new portfolios and develops the processes and controls necessary to run them.

Your skills & experience
- Knowledge of the benefits and limitations of Business Intelligence (BI).
- Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Competent in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
- Advancing planning and organising skills.
- Ability to implement new procedures and controls.
- Detail conscious.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valuing and supporting of others.
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience and working knowledge of one of the following: MCOB, CONC, CASS, Consumer Credit Act, Data Protection Act, Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime regulations.
- Loan or Investments experience.
