Finance Officer within Belfast, 9 month contract, Great interim opportunity.

An established public sector organisation, operating for over 30 years in the not for profit sector, are recruiting for an interim Finance Officer. The organisation is based in an easily accessible location within Belfast. Reporting into the Financial Accountant you will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team. Great opportunity for a 9 month period within an organisation highly regarded within their sector.
Your new role
As the Finance Officer you will play a key part in general ledger activities including uploading weekly bank statements to the finance system, assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, coding and uploading of direct debit transactions and standing invoice orders. You will also liaise with central contract suppliers on behalf of Finance and Procurement to ensure efficient day to day running of the service is achieved. The contract is based on a 37.5 hour week, Monday-Friday basis and requires flexible working hours.
What you'll need to succeed
Successful Applicants will have
-Two years' experience within a similar role (AP/Purchase Ledger)
- A good work ethic
What you'll get in return
Successful applicants will avail from gaining good experience within public sector, 19 days annual leave per annum and the salary on offer ranges from £16000-£19500. A mileage allowance will also be payable by the organisation towards expenses.
