As an Automation Test Engineer you'll be responsible for the creation, maintenance and robustness of a current native mobile and responsive web automation test suite. You'll have experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines and can ensure confidence in a continuous deployment environment. You'll have experience of working in a collaborative, agile environment to write test scenarios for upcoming features and will be able to liaise with internal stakeholders when required. You'll be able to identify and log any issues, improvements or suggestions and be able to progress them through the product lifecycle. You must be confident in giving developers feedback as quickly as possible and be able to escalate risks and issues, in an appropriate and timely manner. We are looking for someone that . - Works in Scrum, XP and Kanban teams - Demonstrable knowledge of test automation - Ability to use GIT SCM confidently - Track-record of testing and maintaining the quality of mobile applications (ideally on iOS and Android) - Detailed knowledge of both Manual and Automated Testing - Experience of working with Test Driven Development/Behaviour Driven Development - Good understanding of testing good practices (both manual and automation) - The ability to investigate issues to the appropriate level of detail and provide information to the product team - An excellent communicator with a wide range of interpersonal skills - Well organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload and time-box - The ability to work autonomously with the confidence to interact with a wide range of colleagues. It would be useful if you have experience in any of the following but not essential . - Experience with mocking and manipulating REST APIs - Previous usage of Calabash and Capybara automation frameworks - Experience with performance and load testing - An understanding of HTML / JavaScript - Experience working with large eCommerce retailers
