Page Personnel are working in partnership with a global organisation for an experienced finance assistant to join a busy accountancy team on a part time basis based in the Warrington area.

Client Details

This is an established global company who are well known within the telecommunication industry.


The successful Finance Assistant will have the following duties;

*Setting up new customer accounts

*Building relationships with customers, and chasing up outstanding debts

*Liaise internally with sales teams, maintain the sales and reconcile the ledgers as well as assist with other finance duties as required

*Support the Financial Controller and produce company reports

*Create sales invoices, post journals, enter purchase and expense batches onto Sage 200

*Process expense claims and create monthly reports and month end reconciliations

*Assist with company purchasing and procurement, which includes, writing tenders, sourcing suppliers and completing purchase orders

*Self-sufficiently reconcile company bank accounts and credit cards

*Successfully managed a building renovation due to relocation of offices. Responsibilities included managing budgets, procurement and producing a claim to growth accelerator

*Managing the cash flow forecast and credit control for the company is one of my many other responsibilities

*Assist the company accountant with payroll, tax returns, statements of financial position, as well as statements of profit and loss


The successful Finance Assistant must have the following;

*Two years proven track of Accounts Assistant

*Experience using Sage Line 200

*Resilient and able to work well under pressure

*Intermediate on Excel, able to do pivot tables, v-look ups, sums, macros

*Excellent communication skills
