Agile Coach - Ecommerce - Full remit to affect change

Agile Coach is urgently needed by a large Ecommerce group to facilitate better communication and processes between teams based in London and Leicester. Time will be split equally between the two sites.

This group has recently come together after an acquisition, while both teams are already following agile methodologies they are not completely aligned. This project is not necessarily about implementing agile methodologies; there will be greater focus on improving how they are being used within disparate teams and facilitating between communication.

The Agile Coach who joins this business will have a full remit to make whatever changes are needed, you will report directly to the CTO. Initially you will focus on one large, ongoing project which contains 4 teams across both sites. Once you have demonstrated a positive impact here you can then move into other teams, with no limit on where else within the business this might take you.

The teams use a mix of Scrum and Kanban so experience of more than one flavour of agile is important. You will have acted as an Agile Coach across geographically spread teams who are working on large scale, complex technical problems. You will have enough technical knowledge to quickly establish credibility with senior engineers and enough gravitas to influence them.

This is a 6 month assignment to begin with but the opportunity to impact the wider business is huge and the remit is clear. I can only consider people willing to work equally between both sites and able to work in the UK.
