Internal Sales Engineer Instrumentation Manchester Days £25k - £28k OTE £32k Perpetual Partnerships are a North West based recruitment consultancy part of a larger group of engineering companies, with a significant track record of supporting the key goals of organisations within the engineering community. Overview We are currently recruiting for a market leading Instrumentation company who are seeking enthusiastic and proactive Internal Sales Engineer. You will ideally have a degree, have experience in a similar role and instrumentation experience ideally. The Role Day to day it is an office based role where you report into the Sales Supervisor. You will be in a team on internally focussed engineers who will be supporting the customers' requirements and issues: - Handle incoming customer enquiries by telephone and email - Prequalify customers' technical and commercial requirements - Produce clear and accurate quotations - Actively participate in the utilisation of salesforce.com for the purpose of cooperation and collaboration of business opportunities - Follow up open opportunities with customers to negotiate quotation and close sale - Prioritize workload and self-manage activities whilst keeping supervisor informed - Work closely with all departments to develop and improve customer performance - Carry out contract review to ensure accurate processing of orders - Own and manage customer accounts including database maintenance and adherence to credit control procedures - Enhance product knowledge via formal training, on the job training, and e-learning Qualifications and Skills - Degree - technical or equivalent industry experience - Must have experience within the process industry or instrumentation specifically is a strong preference - Excellent communication skills - Interpersonal skills - Consultative selling approach - Questioning techniques - Ability to work under pressure and multi task What you will get in return Alongside the competitive salary you will receive an excellent package within a great company that really value their staff and have a great working culture.
